Racial Equity Workshops

Each workshop is individually crafted to invite individuals and organizations to engage in productive conversations about race and racism to initiate institutional change. Workshop participants work to deepen their knowledge of the history in order to enhance understanding how race and racism manifest in a variety of settings from classrooms to corporations.

One-on-One Leadership Coaching

One-to-one coaching provides a safe environment where individuals can engage in the critical analysis of issues of race and racism. It’s important to understand and work to confront the impact of racism on individuals and institutions. The Equity Project offers a space where you may develop racial literacy and consider solutions that can be applied within your sphere of influence, and work to change the status quo.

Educator Workshops

These workshops are designed to help educators answer the question “How can I best contribute to building equity?” Education stakeholders are invited to participate in a supportive community to think about the ways in which they are willing or unwilling to promote racial literacy to change practices, structures, and policies. Educators will set priorities based on “collective, not merely individual empowerment” (Ladson-Billings, 1995).
